Located right in the heart of Chorlton, we’ve been serving the local community since 1983.

A family-owned business from the very beginning, we like to think our shop is small, but perfectly formed, and we pride ourselves on its calm, friendly atmosphere.

Alongside the latest fiction and non-fiction in paperback and hardback – including a thriving children’s section – we stock a selection of Jellycat toys, stamps and book tokens, and we are always refreshing our wide variety of greetings cards. We also offer a free book ordering service, often for next-day delivery.

We’re just a five-minute walk from Chorlton tram station, and if you’re not near enough to call in for a leisurely browse, we can be contacted by phone, email or via social media.
